How we handle the personal data of children, parents and visitors to this website.

What data we process and why

Data on children and pupils and their legal guardians is kept in the school register as required by the Education Act. It serves to fulfil the school's legal duties and we cannot process it in any way other than the law provides.
Data from the contact form and the absence form (name, e-mail, the content of the message) is used only to deal with your request. The forms on this website are sent from your own e-mail program, so you always have a copy of the message yourself.
Photos and videos from school events are published only with the consent of the legal guardians. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Data of job applicants (CVs) is kept for the duration of the recruitment process and then deleted, unless you give your consent for us to keep it longer.

How long we keep the data

Data from the school register and other school documentation is kept for the period laid down by law and by the school's records management rules. Other data is kept only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was provided.

Who we pass the data on to

We pass on personal data only where the law requires us to (for example to the Ministry of Education, the Czech School Inspectorate, health insurance companies or the child protection authorities) and to processors who provide services for the school, such as keeping the school register or catering. We do not share the data with anyone else and we never sell it.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to object to processing and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, uoou.gov.cz.
