A kindergarten founded for children and their parents

Deer come to visit us, wild boar with their young too, birds call, squirrels run about and we find rare insects. We explore a safe environment with no crossroads, cars or street noise – and even no smog, which stays down below the hill while we have clear skies and sunshine.

Our aim is to give children space for their natural development in a motivating, free environment. We build on children's inner need to learn, explore and discover new things. We respect each child's individuality and we do not grade them – we teach every child to value and complete their own work.

We encourage children to communicate and cooperate with one another, to be independent and to fulfil themselves. We believe it makes sense, and the response from parents shows us that we were in the right place at the right time.

Czech-English class

A second language as a natural part of the day

Up to the age of six, a child is at their most receptive to language – both their mother tongue and a foreign one. So this is not foreign-language teaching, which would be ineffective at this age, but the creation of a foreign-language environment that the child soon comes to see as natural.

The result is that the child perceives English as their second native language. What is more, learning a second language at pre-school age creates new neural pathways, quite separate from those that serve the mother tongue.

Daily schedule

The day has a clear, calm structure

An uninterrupted work block, time outdoors, rest. The after-school club is open from 7:00 in the morning and until 16:00 in the afternoon.

In the after-school club the children choose their clubs. When the weather is good, they are mainly outside in the garden. In bad weather they play board games, build with Lego or make things with the after-school club leaders.
