We are building an academy for children and their parents
Our mission is to develop each child fully, so that before starting school they are independent and focused, have self-confidence and a sense of order, and are able to look for solutions and ask questions.
Room for natural development in a motivating, free environment
We build on children's inner need to learn, explore and discover new things. The child develops a sense of friendship, a willingness to help others and a positive relationship to nature, to themselves and to others.
We don't grade children; instead we teach every child to value and complete their own work. In a calm atmosphere, healthy self-confidence, inner peace and harmony grow in the children.
Respect for individuality
We respect each child's individuality and let them work on their own personality, guided by their inner teacher.
Children of different ages side by side
Children of different ages and at different levels of knowledge can work side by side – in tolerance, respect and love.
Free choice of work
The child decides what to do, with whom and for how long. The prepared environment allows them to acquire new knowledge independently.
No marks, no rewards
Verbal (descriptive) assessment instead of marks. A mistake is a friend – it teaches children to value their own work and to finish it.
We want to raise independent, free, responsible and self-reliant individuals who can listen to one another, solve problems and want to protect our planet. Children who understand the world around them and the universe as a whole, who are honest, tolerant and kind, yet are not afraid to speak their mind.
What we want
Our rules are not orders from above.
We put them into words together with the children as things we wish for – because they protect us and do us good.
- We want to follow meaningful rules, because they protect us and do us good.
- We want to keep clean and practise good hygiene, so that we are healthy, strong and pleasant to be around.
- We want to be considerate and friendly.
- We want to solve problems with words and kindness, not physically.
- We want to adorn our speech with polite words that show respect to others.
- We want to protect human dignity.
- We want to finish our work patiently.
- We want to make room for creativity.
- We want to see how things are connected.
- We want to be sensitive when someone is sad.
- We want to care for the Earth and protect it.
Something that makes a human being inwardly strong and free
An education at our kindergarten and school gives a child more than knowledge.
How Montessori worksThe best way to get to know the school is to see it
Book a visit, walk through the classrooms and ask us anything. We're happy to show you around outside open days too.
