Ivča Chleborádová
Teaching assistant
Kindergarten – Primary classes
My name is Iva, and the children at preschool call me Ivča. I have been working at AMA School for four years.
Working with children had always appealed to me, and I wanted to be close to them and become part of their everyday world. When I first came to AMA School to ask about a job, there were no asistent positions available at the time. Although I had graduated from Gymnázium Most, I gladly accepted the opportunity offered by the school director to join AMA School in a role focused on cleaning, caring for the school environment and helping to create a pleasant place for everyone.
I am not afraid of any kind of work. I enjoy cooking, baking, cleaning, creating things and taking care of the environment around me. During my first two years at AMA School, this was my main responsibility, but I naturally began helping with the children as well whenever someone was absent or whenever an extra pair of hands was needed.
Two years ago, a teaching assistant position became available, and I accepted it with great enthusiasm. I truly enjoy being in the classroom with the children. Almost every day, I also spend time with our youngest preschool children, helping them settle down for their afternoon rest, putting them to sleep and welcoming them again when they wake up. I lead some activities with them and take an active part in the everyday life of the classroom.
I am very grateful for the opportunity to work with children. It is work that gives me a real sense of purpose, brings me joy and makes me feel that I am exactly where I am meant to be.
