Ing. Jiří Tyšer
GDPR officer & School legislation Advisor
Founder and data protection officer
For more than 30 years, I worked as a primary school headteacher. Our school had an extended foreign-language programme and a large teaching staff, so I gained extensive experience not only in school leadership, but also in managing people, solving complex situations and navigating the everyday reality of school life.
Alongside my work as a headteacher, I have also spent many years working with the Pedagogical Centre in Most, where I train teachers, teaching assistants, school leaders and deputy headteachers in compulsory school legislation and related areas. This has allowed me to remain closely connected to the practical needs of schools and to support colleagues in understanding how legal requirements translate into everyday practice.
Today, I work with AMA School as a consultant in school legislation and GDPR compliance. I have been cooperating with AMA School for many years, and during that time we have worked through dozens of different situations together. In many of them, I have been able to draw on my long professional experience, whether the issue concerned legislation, school management, documentation, internal processes or data protection.
What I still enjoy most about this work is that education never stands still. Schools, legislation and the Ministry of Education are constantly evolving, and I continue to follow these changes closely. I see it as my role to interpret them, explain what they mean in practice and help AMA School respond to them clearly, correctly and with confidence.
Even after many years in education, I still find the field dynamic, challenging and meaningful. I value the opportunity to share my experience, continue learning and contribute to the safe, well-organised and legally sound operation of the school.
