About me

I am the founder and Head of School at AMA School, a bilingual Czech–English Montessori school that I have been developing since 2012.

My professional journey has been closely connected with Montessori education for more than fifteen years. I completed my AMI Primary training (3–6) in 2012 and later continued with AMI Elementary training (6–12), which I completed in 2019. Over the years, I have also taken part in numerous international Montessori seminars and professional development programmes focused on child development, education, communication and leadership.

My academic background includes Special Education and Non-Profit Organisation Management. I also completed a one-year professional qualification progremme for school leaders including the Czech education law and school legislation. I have continued to broaden my professional perspective through studies in psychology, countless individual educational courses, positive psychology, leadership and respectful communication.

Travelling and discovering different cultures have always been an important part of my life. I have travelled extensively across six continents, with Antarctica being the only exception. However, volunteering has left an even deeper mark on me. Since the age of sixteen, I have devoted part of my time to volunteering with children from children’s homes and those growing up in challenging life circumstances.. The joy of spending time with them, being there for them, offering a helping hand and contributing, even in a small way, to their journey has stayed with me ever since. These experiences have profoundly shaped the way I see children and education, and have taught me how important it is for every child to feel safe and respected, and to have someone in their life who believes in them and truly values them.

Since founding AMA, my role has gradually evolved from working directly with children as a Montessori guide to leading and developing the school as a whole. Today, my main focus is the educational vision and long-term development of AMA School, connecting authentic Montessori principles with bilingual education, international opportunities and the needs of children and young people in today’s world.

AMA has grown from a small Montessori preschool into a bilingual educational community accompanying children from their earliest years through elementary education and adolescence. My vision is to continue developing AMA as a place where children can grow towards independence, responsibility, curiosity and a meaningful relationship with the world around them.

I believe that education is not simply about preparing children for the next stage of school. It is about helping them discover who they are, what they are capable of and how they can contribute to the world.

A thought that continues to guide me:

“If you want to change the world, start with yourself.”
