About me.
I have always been drawn to innovative approaches to education. Active learning, critical thinking, reading and writing strategies, cooperative learning and other student-centred methods have long been an important part of my teaching practice. At AMA School, I have been able to build on this experience and connect it with Montessori pedagogy, which I see as a deeply meaningful approach to both education and child development.
Continuous learning is an important part of my professional life. I have completed numerous courses and training programmes in areas that inspire me and continue to look for new opportunities to grow. I have also had the opportunity to introduce Montessori principles and practice to fellow educators and university students.
During my time at AMA School, I have worked across all three three-year cycles of our primary school. This experience has given me a valuable perspective on the development of children throughout the entire elementary stage and a deeper understanding of the continuity and interconnectedness of Montessori education.
Outside school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being active, doing sports, walking in nature, creating and getting involved in new ideas and projects. I am naturally energetic, optimistic and enthusiastic, and I enjoy passing that energy on to others – especially to children.
I believe that education should help children develop curiosity, independence, confidence and responsibility for their own learning. Montessori education offers an environment in which these qualities can truly grow, and I am grateful to be part of a community that brings these principles to life every day.
