About me

I was born in Litvínov, where I spent my childhood and teenage years. After completing secondary school of economics, I moved to Most, where I still live today. I began my professional career at the Czechoslovak State Bank, which later became part of Komerční banka after the commercial banking activities were separated in 1990.

After the birth of my second child, I went on a very long maternity leave – during that time, another daughter was born, and altogether I spent 18 years at home with my children. Looking back, I see that period very positively. I believe it helped me build an exceptionally close relationship with my family, and that is something I value deeply.

I have been part of AMA School since its early years and today I work in the catering department. Over the years, this role has brought many new challenges and has required me to keep learning constantly. There are always new ingredients to discover, new processes to understand and new ways to improve the quality of what we offer to children.

Together with our head chef, we make every effort to provide children with fresh, high-quality food every day. Whenever possible, we also work with local farmers, butchers and other trusted suppliers. I am very happy that the children enjoy the meals we serve, and I am proud that AMA School maintains a high standard when it comes to the quality of food and school catering.

I am a practical person and I like things to be organised and well structured. I do not enjoy chaos, and my thoroughness can sometimes be demanding even for me. At the same time, I believe that being precise, reliable and attentive to detail is especially important in a role that combines everyday catering operations with administration and responsibility for many different processes.

As I get older, my interests continue to change. I enjoy going to the theatre, reading and spending time in my garden, which is one of my favourite ways to relax. I am particularly interested in books about war history, although in general I do not follow one specific genre, a book simply has to capture my attention.

I value honesty and sincerity and I do not like hypocrisy. I tend to see the good in people, which sometimes makes disappointment more difficult, but I still prefer to approach others with trust and openness. One of my strongest qualities is probably my ability to listen.

Working at AMA School has taught me many things over the years, and I am grateful that I can contribute to an area of school life that is so important for children every single day.
